Regarding 1Password, I'm using version 4 because I don't need any of that cloud nonsense, and the one thing that truly annoys me about it is not being able to accessibly switch between the different saving options--login, account, credit card, etc. If I physically click on one of the alternate options, 1Password changes to that option all right, but as soon as I press the TAB key to find the list of records in that option, or find the New button to create one, it reverts back to the logins option. I've tried this with three screenreaders--JAWS,NVDA,and Narrator--and just can't get 1Password to stay put!

Thanks everyone. I just downloaded KeePass and am beginning to try it out. Seems pretty accessible from setting up the new database and master password. I noticed that when I have the KeePass window open or even minimized, JAWS had trouble reading word documents until I closed KeePass. Plan to try OnePassword and Lastpass as well. Thanks again. ### -----Original Message----- From: Nimer Jaber <nimerjaber1@gmail.com> Sent: Monday, August 26, 2019 11:21 AM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Re: Password managers Hello, I've used both Lastpass and 1password, and both seem to work pretty well. I use lastpass for our IT department. It works great, but you do have to subscribe, so that might be a negative for some. It does, however, allow folder and password sharing and properly handles multiple users and updates. On Mon, 26 Aug 2019, Troy Hergert wrote:

Like Andrew, I think I may be more interested in something cloud based. Andrew have you been able to access the admin interface of LastPass? Half of our staff have agency cell phones and laptops which are off the network 50% of the time, so cloud based and IOS app options will be useful. ### -----Original Message----- From: Billy Irwin <billy.irwin@outlook.com> Sent: Monday, August 26, 2019 12:32 PM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Re: Password managers Hi Andrew, The corporate version of Last pass really was terrible when we tried to implement it into our AD. Hi, I only use the home edition not the business edition sorry. Wherever I have worked we have used some really inaccessible hosted solution like ArcVault or ManageEngine. The problem with all these cloud apps is that you end up with large subscriptions which have to be renewed each year and these are typically on staff numbers, so when it hits a certain level usually gets canned. I use the admin vof lastpass as I am one of the admins for our company. It is sometimes a little hard, but you can get used to it. I do not, however, integrate it with our AD as that seems to be a pain. On Mon, 26 Aug 2019, Troy Hergert wrote:

Hi Andrew,
The corporate version of Last pass really was terrible when we tried to implement it into our AD. Their admin interface was unusable at the time which a bit over a year ago.
Best,
Billy

Hi,
I use Lastpass here but just picked one a few years ago which seemed the most usable at the time. It has its issues but is on the whole ok.
I did want a system which was cloud based.
Andrew.
