WSUS 3.0sp1 accessibility?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had setup and was using windows server update services v3.0sp1? I was using 2, then the update to 3 happened and it's wizard seems very unaccessible. I was wondering if anyone had workarounds? This is with jfw9. Thanks. Dave.
It is accessible with Window-Eyes; it takes a bit of messing around to get the hang of using mouse navigation to read computer and update details as well as reading reports, etc. The wizards are fairly usable without much work. All of the update approval functions are accessible via keystrokes--ctrl-i for install for example. Do you have any specific questions? On Thu, November 13, 2008 08:58, Dave wrote:

Hello, Thanks. I've got wsus3 installed, and i think working. My problem is i'm stuck, adding computers, approving updates, for me jfw9 isn't reading the screens, it seems like they're dynamically generated, i was wondering if there was a list of keyboard commands or a way to make the mmc which looks like is the primary interface to wsus3 work more like classic mmc's? If anyone has this working i'd appreciate any assistance. Thanks. Hi, I use this with JFW 9 and it works ok for me with the mouse cursor (or JFW cursor). It is better for me than 2.x was, even though 2.x was a web interface.
