partition tool with access
Hi, does anyone know of a good windows partition tool with access at this point?
I looked it up, and, under Windows, it’s called Diskpart. Apparently, it’s text-based, hence it should be entirely accessible. There are also PowerShell commands available.

Hi. What's wrong with Diskpart? If you need a specific feature or use case it would be helpful. Andrew. I love diskpart, I can't resize on the fly with diskpart however, and we have to restrict some services that diskpart uses so want another tool that can move data up and down the partition with out moving it off of the drive in curtain scenarios. On 4/4/2023 4:07 AM, Andrew Hodgson wrote:

If you were asking about Linux, I would suggest GNU Parted, which also has some capacity to resize NTFS filesystems, according to a quick Web search. However, I'm less familiar with the Windows offerings. The partition management tool included in Windows (the one with the graphical interface) can resize NTFS filesystems as well. That's how I freed space on my laptop's drive in order to install Linux alongside the existing Windows installation.
Hi. To be honest I thought you could resize the system volume using Diskpart, Diskpart is what is used as the backend to the volume GUI tool in Disk Manager. Internet searches seem to confirm this.
