Hi all, I've just had an interview for a role where part of my responsibilities will be dealing with Zenoss. Does anyone have any experience of its accessibility in terms of viewing alerts & general administration? They have a free version for personal use which I'll play with in due course but I was wondering if anyone uses their enterprise product. Regarding monitoring in general: the environment I'll hopefully be working in has a huge wall of monitors that gives an overview of the infrastructure & displays alerts when appropriate. The manager was (understandably) skeptical about how I'd be able to view alerts & the other output that Zenoss generates. I told him that I would most likely just use a Windows client or similar instead of using the wall. Does anyone do something similar? I notice that Zenoss has an API so if it makes the difference between me getting a job and not I'll just write something myself; he seems quite open to creative solutions to problems so there is some hope.
