Ibraam, I use the MCSA/MCSE self paced study kit from Microsoft Press for covering Windows 2003. It is a good reference and I liked using the excercises. You can find it on WWW.microsoft.com Greg B. -----Original Message----- From: blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of romance's prince Sent: Tuesday, March 24, 2009 5:24 PM To: Blind sysadmins list Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] windows system administrator hello members: I need to study windows system administrator could you suggest for me some e-books? sites? Ibraam, I don't mean to be harsh but being a sysadmin requires some initiative and the willingness to dig around for information. Greg gave you a good starting resource; start with that and work from there. I personally pay for access to the Oreilly Safari book collection. Some resources are going to be free, some cost money--that's the nature of the situation. Matt On Wed, April 1, 2009 12:41, Ibraam Wahib wrote:

Ibraam, You can search a little for some of the relevant books in the internet. A good source of material is the Microsoft web site. I also use other sources such as friends and www.bookshare.org. All sources are not free but I allocate some of the money I get to keeping my skills up. Ibraam, I am not working. I was laid off from a company that thought it would be a novelty to have a individual with disabilities working for them, so I understand where you are coming from but you got to do a little bit of sacrificing on your own. I hope I don't offend but you have to fight for what you want. Hi, Another good resource I use recently is the virtual machines available from Microsoft. These contain best-practice configurations for various scenarios, such as Exchange, SQL Server, etc. These are free, especially if you want beta code. Thanks. Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Greg B.
