if a computer wont start and displays windows dont start correctly and there is 1 or 3 choices 1 restart 2 advanced and maybe 3 dont remember the name no sound and i'm totaly blind
Press F8 on startup, select safe mode and then do system restore several days back. Scan your system for any system errors with sfc /scannow and then malware check. Sometimes chkdsk /f helps if system was shutdown many times improperly. I'm not sure if system restore can be launched with talking win 7 disk. With windows 8 and 10, press shift plus f8 to get to advanced startup menu.
