vista, jfw, and vmware server
Hello, Is anyone running this combo? I've got an xp host which is running the latest version of vmware server 1.07 and windows vista ultimate with sp1. The vista vm seemed stable until i put jfw 9.0.2169 on it. Now whenever i try to do something with jfw, the system blue screens on me and crashes. I'm suspecting this has something to do with either the video intercept, vista complained that that publisher could not be verified or that there's a vista theme or display setting that needs to be changed. The machine is running with whatever the default theme is. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Dave.
Hi, TBH I used to get the same with Vmware workstation running XP Prof SP2 and an early JFW 9 in another XP or Server 2003 R2 VM. I am told this may now be fixed with a later JFW build.
