The single message with the greatest detail regarding the current status of NVDA Remote was this one by Joseph Lee ( https://nvda.groups.io/g/nvda/message/68245 ). The current NVDA remote will only work with NVDA up through the NVDA 2019.2 release. When any major news about NVDA Remote becomes available you may be assured that it will be announced here. Until and unless that happens, if you must have access to NVDA remote you will need to stay on an NVDA release that is earlier than NVDA 2019.3. There is currently no projected date for getting NVDA Remote functioning with NVDA 2019.3 and later, but the need is recognized. You can find contact information for the NVDA Remote developers at the bottom of the NVDA Remote Access ( https://nvdaremote.com/ ) Home Page. Search for the link, “Christopher Toth and Tyler Spivey,” which is a mailto link for the developers. Questions regarding NVDA Remote should be directed to them unless the functionality were to be integrated into NVDA itself. I have previously stated that I will lock any topic on NVDA Remote until or unless something changes, so this topic is now locked. I am begging the membership at large to simply "watch this space" for updated information once it becomes available rather than continuing to churn out topic after topic regarding NVDA Remote. It’s probably not new to any of you. Last time I tested NVDA 2019 on a Windows server 2019, no remote ad-on was necessary. It’s working flawlessly via RDP. Install NVDA on a remote machine, connect via RDP, start NVDA and good to go. Even without sound card. Does not work though on the older 2008 OS. -----Original Message----- From: Simon Eigeldinger <simon.eigeldinger@vol.at> Sent: Sunday, January 12, 2020 10:04 AM To: Blind sysadmins list <blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Fwd: [Special] [nvda] The Status of NVDA Remote and NVDA 2019.3 - The "Last Word" until there's New Information -------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht -------- Betreff: [Special] [nvda] The Status of NVDA Remote and NVDA 2019.3 - The "Last Word" until there's New Information Datum: Sun, 12 Jan 2020 10:03:29 -0800 Von: Brian Vogel <britechguy@gmail.com> Antwort an: nvda@nvda.groups.io An: nvda@nvda.groups.io *The Status of NVDA Remote and NVDA 2019.3* : The latest information on NVDA Remote was discussed, at length, in the earlier topic NVDA remote ( https://apc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fnvda.group... ) , which can be reviewed in the NVDA Group Archive by activating the link given. Hi Anatoliy, I would still recommend the addon though. With the addon you also get braille support. also you get no lag when using machines over poor lines. also connecting to computers of users it might be more convenient to use the addon. you can turn off speech on their pc and use the addon to receive all outputs. additionally you can focus a window on your local machine and toggle between local and remote with f11. Nice if you have to do things locally and remotely at the same time. Greetings, Simon Am 13.01.2020 um 01:59 schrieb Anatoliy Shudrya:
