Hi. Doing an assignment, where I need to create a couple of tables for a database, then import the data. Did this yesterday, and now when I use the import / export wizard sql express 2014, 64 bit for my windows 8.1, 64 bit, machine, it says I need sql server pro, enterprise or developer. To save the imported data. Well. As a member of dreamspark, as a student, got the developer version. When I run the setup, no install new installasation or stand aline. Only to upgrade or migrate tool. Any one got any ideas, or links where I can download and or install, or how to by pass the installation centre. Using jaws 16, latest version, 64 bit. Any help. Thanks.
Hi, Can you back up the database you created in SQL Express, uninstall SQL Express then install SQL developer, then restore the .bak file? That is how I would do it. Andrew. ________________________________________ From: Blind-sysadmins [blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] on behalf of Marvin Hunkin [startrekcafe@gmail.com] Sent: 17 July 2015 08:47 To: blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] sql server 2014 instalation issues help?
