New Outlook on the Web and questions regarding NVDA and JAWS
Hi all, In light of recent projects, I've had the opportunity to try out Outlook on the Web. I find it works ... somewhat,, but I did notice a few unlabeled buttons. I find sending emails very difficult, and then trying to switch between portions of the interface very inconvenient at best, impossible at worst when frames don't let screen readers go. I'll be glad though to report that behavior from JAWS and NVDA are the same. What do you all say?

I can certainly enable the light version for the time being ... considering as an aside, we clearly need to fix autodiscover; until then, I'm stuck with Outlook on the web for full functionality. EDAD is the Enterprise Disability AnswerDesk. You can reach them at edad@microsoft.com, and any issues with Microsoft software in terms of accessibility should be reported to them. Having the EDAD report an issue to a product team can many times light a fire under them that other means of reporting issues doesn't. When you send us your issue, please be as detailed as possible with steps to reproduce the issue and the results you get and what you expect. The one thing regarding accessibility that I still haven't figured out is how to figure out what unlabeled buttons are supposed to say; like for instance, in Outlook on the web, there is one that says, according to both JAWS and NVDA, "unlabeled 7". The one thing regarding accessibility that I still haven't figured out is how to figure out what unlabeled buttons are supposed to say; like for instance, in Outlook on the web, there is one that says, according to both JAWS and NVDA, "unlabeled 7". I find it works ... somewhat,, but I did notice a few unlabeled buttons. I find sending emails very difficult, and then trying to switch between portions of the interface very inconvenient at best, impossible at worst when frames don't let screen readers go. I'll be glad though to report that behavior from JAWS and NVDA are the same.
