Folks, I've successfully been able to control a remote computer using Teamviewer v8 with speech feedback from NVDA, with some issues that can hopefully be overcome The setup was minimal. Install TeamViewer on both systems, with no special configurations. Connect to the remote computer. In my experiment I had NVDA running already, but you could simply ask an end-user to start it from an icon on the desktop. When I pressed WinKey E, TeamViewer recognised this as a keystroke and prompted for me to pass keystrokes through, which I did. All keystrokes are passed through with the exception of Ctrl, Alt, Delete, and the numPad, which the latter is a bit disappointing because no Object Nav/Review cursor , or modifier key on the remote end. To perform the Ctrl Alt, Delete keystrokes you seem to be required to click on the Actions menu in the TeamViewer main toolbar , which is outside of the session. The only way I have found to get out of the main session window as alt, tab is being passed through to the session is pressing, ctrl, alt, del which brings up task manager on the controlling PC. Switch to the Applications tab, then choose a window to switch too. Alt tabbing back to the TeamViewer window will then pass the keystrokes back into the session. Exploring this screen with NVDA's Object Nav I can see the minimise, resize, and maxamise icons, a toolbar which wont' let me interactive with, and something that just says TV3. Right clicking or left clicking using Object Nav does nothing. Has anyone been able to get this action menu activated through the keyboard? Thanks, Barry.
