Hello, Do we have any users of a PBX running it on a VPS using it for home or small business services on a budget? Thanks. Dave. -- Sent from Mozilla Thunderbird 91.13.1
Dave, I (along with a few friends) run a FreeSWITCH/Fusion PBX instance on a Vultr VPS. I use Bulkvs for North American termination along with Anveo Direct for US origination and international call termination, which keeps cost very low. Bill Sent from my iPhone

Hi Bill. Since this is a little over my head, I am wondering who is your Residencial VOIP provider? Thank you. Rajiv
Rajiv, Where are you located, and which countries do you need to call? Do you want a phone number for people to call you, and if so, where? How important is support? How many minutes per month do you plan to use? Hi Cody. I am located in the US. Do I understand, from your last question, that your VOIP does not function like Vonage with amenities such as a flat fee? Thank you . On May 7, 2024 10:46:49 PM <codeofdusk@gmail.com> wrote:

Rajiv, Generally, the providers I use charge a small monthly fee (between 6 and 25 cents) per month for each local US phone number, and a bit more for international. Domestic US calls are about 3 cents per hundred inbound minutes, 40 cents per hundred outbound minutes. Toll-free outbound (on Bulkvs) are credited back to you at a rate of 20 cents per hundred minutes. No monthly minimums, so small systems are okay, but you're mostly on your own when it comes to interconnection and troubleshooting. Hi David. The VPS we have is used in a small business capacity. I'm using fasthosts to host the VPS. The VPS is running Debian with an install of Free PBX and it costs me less than £10 a month for the hole thing. I'm using voipfone and localphone for incoming/outgoing calls. I hope this helps? Very best wishes, Mo. On 08/05/2024 02:17, David Mehler via Blind-sysadmins wrote:
