I bought 2 of them. They were $50 each time. I think I got mine from IRTI. But surprisingly, it was the same price every place I sought for it.
The one I have does not have a battery; the static is the hinge thing. But forgive me if I'm stepping on the discussion. I do not follow it all.

Hello everyone. This is to inform for those who might not no yet that
both the pocket and the linio pocket now got firmware updates. Fixing
among other things USB connectivity issues. I no on a number of pc's
people had problems. Hope they will have a much more smoover and
smarter connecting experience. Only sad thing is that for this update
they have done away with the .exe file download. So you must use the
.zip file for the UK firmware. Don't no on the US firmware if they
kept that file. Goodluck and enjoy. Feel free to report back here or
email me directly if someone struggle with the zip download.
