question about auto in the pocket.

Not an auto in my pocket, you uderstand. There is the auto gain control on my Plextalk Two and also on the plex pocket. I know how to turn it off in the plextalk Two. It is a toggle between my being able to set the record volume level, and the auto gain. Well, I plugged my little sony stereo mike into the Plex Pocket and tried to make a recording tonight. it will say auto, once I found the right key; but how do I get the machine to let me set the record levels? And why wouldn't my CD burn? You've probably guessed a possible reason. Too much data. I was using just mp3 files, and not the plex itself, though the plex had recorded them. I sometimes get 29 tracks on an audio CD; sometimes 24. I figured I was at least safe with 24. Wrong. So I removed the bottom two. It still wouldn't burn. But when I removed 4 tracks and tried to burn it, it went through perfectly. I know what to do in the future. Thanks for bearing with me. If I'm this dangerous just burning a CD, they're not going to let me out on the streets. Boy is my face red. Smilies. Thanks so very much to all who helped me. CD wanna be.

Hi. I recorded 20 or so songs from church. They made a nice CD and I sent it to a friend out in Oklahoma. But I needed the first ten songs from that recording to put with about 12 other songs for a different purpose. I saved them to a playlist to try to burn them. The program I'm using says that there's not enough room on my blank CD to burn them. I've tried more than one CD; I've done about everything I know. Here's the question after all this: Q: Can I take the play list, 20 or 22 songs, and somehow put it back into the plextalk and cause the machine to make a cd of them? There is now no longer the internal files that belong to the recordings. Here's the question stated another way. Can I take a collection of 20 songs, put them into the plex without recording them in again, and cause the plex to turn them out for me as a CD? I could play the songs into the plex again, yes. but can I possibly drop them in in some kind of folder and have them recognized in the way that is necessary to producing a CD? I know the answer will be "no," but I had to ask. All best, Penny
