question about auto in the pocket.

Not an auto in my pocket, you uderstand. There is the auto gain control on my Plextalk Two and also on the plex pocket. I know how to turn it off in the plextalk Two. It is a toggle between my being able to set the record volume level, and the auto gain. Well, I plugged my little sony stereo mike into the Plex Pocket and tried to make a recording tonight. it will say auto, once I found the right key; but how do I get the machine to let me set the record levels? Except for the rare occasion when one decides to update to the latest/greatest version. Hello Steve. I have two Plextalk Pockets and a Plextalk Linio. In all cases the units will now not accept charge from a mains charger. I believe this is a common fault. I now charge all my units using a USB charger or computer, and they work fine. Peter
