Hi,
Here in the UK Site and Sound together with RNIB can no longer supply
batteries for the PTN 2 players. There is a company in Leicester who are
able to open the casing and insert new battery cells. The company is called
ESP Special Batteries Ltd and their telephone number is 0116 2413796. The
cost is about £32 as they will accept VAT exemption. As with the other
former suppliers, the courier cost is about £10 because the post office will
not allow batteries in their packages.
I've had two such units done.
