Hi All: Well, when I tried asking about this on the BookPort list, my message
bounced, as I guess that list is gone. So considering how similar these devices
ar, I will explain here what happened.
Yesterday I recorded an ABC-News stream for several hours, which I wanted to
edit. So took this card over to my Linux machine, coppied the file to my
hard-drive-and-edited out commercial breaks. After unmounting the
card-and-inserting it back in BPDT, it said "no content on sd card" Likewise
looking at it again in Linux, won't even load. Not sure, but I think the file
system in BookPort is fat32, while my Linux might be an ext4. While I have
certainly had successes, I have had 2 or 3 of these type possible disasters.
