Hello Aiden and Plextalk users, Current available Plextalk products in Europe are PTN2 desktop CD/SD/USB player PTP1 pocket player/recorder on SD-card Linio Pocket Pocket player compatible with DODP Linio (PTX1/PRO) desktop CD/SD/USB and DODP player, also included with Bluetooth interface. Last 2 units are intended to work with the DAISY online protocol. (DODP) Most libraries in Europe have implemented DODP and Plextalk is delivering units to the dealer network in Europe. However, you are right, PTR2 has been discontinued since 2017, first production was in 2005 and has lasted for 12 years, however, service is still possible for this model. The European libraries have the DAISY 2.02 and 3.0 standard, and big majority is still distribution on CD next to the DODP. Pocket (PTP1) and Linio Pocket (PTP1/Linio) are still available, Linio Pocket can also read EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 format books. Our company has developed PTN3 and PTR3 for the Japanese market. Unfortunately information is only available in Japanese. Shinano Kenshi did not decide if we release these products in Europe yet. You can always contact me for further questions about Plextalk products. And ptr2 were silently discontinued. I'm worried about state of things. On 10/24/19, Bob Smith <support-northamerica@plextalk.com> wrote:

I think we can get the Plextalk products until Windows CE is no longer supported? I know I have just bought two new ones in the past year. Sharon

Hello. I wunder what is the plans for plextalk in future? Are they going to faid away? They don't seem to have new plans or products and in my country the dealer already removed them from their product list/website. They seem very quiet and I think it would just be fair to loyl customers to mention something as to the road map?
