Jeff, Here's what I do. Before getting started, make sure that you Plextalk is not only authorized, but is activated. This is done in the Device menu of Audible Manager while the Plextalk is attached. After purchasing a book, I go to My Library at Audible.com. I find the download link for the book I want to read/transfer. After hitting the download link, I get another web page indicating that the book is downloading. When the book is downloaded I tab down to remove all completed books and I hit that link so things don't get too cluttered. When the download is complete, assuming I have my Plextalk connected and Audible Manager installed, the program automatically transfer the book to Audible Manager. Occasionally, I've had a book not go directly to Audible Manager. In that case, I go to the Audible folder in My Documents and find the download folder. I find the book and right click on it and there's usually a transfer to Audible Manager option. Or sometimes you can find it in "send to" Once the book is in Audible Manager, if the book didn't automatically load to the Plextalk, focus on the title and hit control+t to iniate the transfer process. I use Windows XP so things might be slightly different in Windows 7, but I don't think it's too different. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Samco" <jsamco@jps.net> To: "Plextalk User Discussion List" <plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Friday, July 10, 2015 6:06 PM Subject: Re: [Plextalk] Need help putting an Audible book on Plextalk Pocket
Thanks, Bob, for the help. But, after looking around the File, Edit, etc menu options, I'm guessing I need to first download Audible books to my computer and then transfer to an SD card. Is that right? Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Two ways to add content to the SD card.
Confirm the SD card shows up in the lower section or, if the Plextalk Pocket is connected, that the Pocket shows up in the lower section and the SD card memory allocation is displayed.
1. Make your selection in the Library (upper section), select, and then drag and drop to the lower section for the SD card. 2. Make your selection in the Library (upper section), select, and then select the "add to device" button at the top right of the library section.

I'm setting up downloading to my Plextalk Pocket for the first time. I am stuck. Here's what I've done. I went to my Audible library using IE on a Windows 7 computer. I went to a purchased title and pressed Enter on download. I went through the setup process for the Audible Download Manager to be installed on my computer. including selecting a Plextalk device as my player. Now, I have the Audible Download Manager open and I can tab from Library to an empty list and the target media of Plextalk SD card. How do I get the empty library list to populate with my purchased books? If I go back to the Audible website and my library, if I press Enter on the download option for my desired book I just get the same instructions and opportunity to download the Audible Download Manager again. Thanks for any help with this. Jeff
