No Russ, I was comparing completely turning the units on-and-off. If I turn a BookPort on, within maybe 2seconds, it is ready for use, while Plextalk, you must hold the power button `a long time. Once you turn the unit back on, it probably takes 2minutes past a "please wait" message, then music while its loading windows7, then finally. Hart
