Also, it has been my understanding that a Plextalk Pocket firmware upgrade could not be completed without the power input being connected to AC, i.e., charged in the expected way. I've a Bookport-owning friend, who needed to visit a Plextalk Pocket owner so that he could upgrade its firmware with a correct battery charger (as he'd lost his own). USB-to -ac socket does not qualify as that, AFAIK. If you can, get hold of another power supply such as the sort used to charge wireless headphones, that connects suitably and is suitably rated. The problem you are having could be that the Plextalk does not know whether it is being connected to another USB device or if is to charge. -----Original Message----- From: Flor Lynch Sent: Monday, May 18, 2015 8:12 PM To: Plextalk User Discussion List Subject: Re: [Plextalk] plextalk pocket and please wait. Its Newness is no guarantee that a card is correctly formatted . Try a different SD card. -----Original Message-----

I have tried removing the battery for the amount of time you have said but that did not help either when plugging the plextalk pocket back into the wall outlet i get that please wait, and the chime. So then i wait and eventually it brings up the boot sound, so, No it is not a krupt sd card since i have a brand new card in my plextalk pocket. _______________________________________________ Plextalk mailing list Plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/plextalk _______________________________________________ Plextalk mailing list Plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/plextalk
