Hi Flor/All, Just to add to Pele's excellent post: UK national stations are still available in high quality WM streaming. Here is an example URL for Radio 4: http://bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r4.asx For other stations, replace with r2 for Radio 2, r5l for Radio 5 live, r4x for Radio 4 extra and so-on. Local stations also work as in bbccornwall. Then use Pele's method for saving the .ASX file and copy to the Pocket. HTH, Peter At 00:56 31/01/2013, you wrote:

Thanks for that. I think I've now ascertained that the UK-wide BBC radio stations are not at this point streaming in windows Media Player, or indeed not streaming outside of the iPlayer. Whereas Radio Scotland, Foyle, Ulster, Wales, nan Gaidheal, Cymru, and the many other local English radio stations, are streaming in WMP. (the World Service streams are international, so under a different head.)
(How does, or can, Plextalk WebRadio deal with radio streams for tablet devices?)

Hi Flor,
I had them working a number of months ago but haven't tried them recently. If you want to try it, I've given a link below for a compressed file with around 17 feeds, including a number of the BBC ones. You should be able to download the ZIP file, then uncompress it and copy the files to the Pocket Webradio folder.
The download link is:

See how it goes and good luck.
Jamie

Has anybody been able to get the domestic BBC radio station links to work on the Pocket? (the BBC World Service works fine: Others, such as BBCRadio1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Live, 6 Music, etc., don't seem to work. (I get taken into a loop, forever waiting. Eventually have to shut it off.)

Yes, both options work. You do need the transfer software to add podcast feeds.

Hmm, ok, I guess if that works but the plextalk transfer software is another option I guess lol. I guess both ways work

Actually, you don't need the transfer software to place web radio stations on the pocket. You simply copy a file to the plexwebradio folder. Or in my
case, I have a folder for each type of feed. Example, acb radio, blinky tv,
etc.

Well I think you have to use the plextalk transfer software. You then find the link of the radio station you want and it will give you a space to right the name as well as to enter the url. you can just copy and paste the url if you have one. It will then detect the link and the radio station will be under your web radio catagory. Ok, I have the bookport but I guess its similar if not the same so someone can correct me if I'm incorrect but I think that is how it works.

You're asking a question that I want to know. I would love to do web radio on my plex pocket. I heard a pod cast on this, but it was long and drawn-out. Is there a few simple things to know and to do?

I tried to get the pocket to play web radio last night, I couldn't work it out, how do I get more stations on the player?
