Its already either a wave or mp3 depending on your choices of recording mode in the recording mode setting on the plextalk. Its just a matter of removing the CF card from your plextalk and using an adapter to plug it into your USB port on your computer or using the USB utility cable that came with the plextalk to interface the plextalk directly to your computer. Then you can use your windows explorer to find the file and hit f2 and rename it something useful. You will not have to change the file extension it will already be either .mp3 or .wav however the file name will always be the same: a00000001.mp3 (I am just guessing on the number of zeros. The file is usually the top one under the book number folder associated with the recording. You can use the windows explorer to copy and paste the file where ever you want it to be after you give it a more functional name. I would like to record music from my computer to my ptp1 Plextalk player. After I record the album from my computer to my Plextalk can I change that file from a daisy file to an mp3 file? If I can do this, how do I go about changing the file from a daisy file to an mp3 file? Thanks allot and have a good day. _______________________________________________ Plextalk mailing list Plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/plextalk ----- No virus found in this message.
