Well many people don't use Itunes for purchases and I think a 32gig is nice but I don't think its about how much storage you can have. When I offered for you to get a 16 gig thenyou said that there was no need for it and your 8 gig was sufficient enough so you must think carefully about getting a bigger storage space if you not going to use all of it. Wel it would be nice if they support more formats yes, but the ITunes files you buy from the store I doubt, maybe just other m4a files will do. I guess their focus is more to make it a player for general reading and enjoyment. Maybe they assume that if you want to play apple files you would use there IPods. Who noes, but I'm sure we will no more in a month or so.

Hi,
It's been very slow in the US I have to say.
But I have 2 GB of RAM and a 64GB card in mine.
But I have to say the 8GB of internal memory is great. I just hope they update their sound file support. After all, it can't currently even play your iTunes purchases. What's that all about?
All the best

Ok, it have 2 gig, I was a bit out, sorry, wel stil to little. One of my biggest problems is that where I am, I con't get hold of 32 gig cards, so now, if I have a milestone together with an 8 or 16 gig card, it won't make a big difference, but if I have this new unit with 8 gig build in memory, plus a 16 gig card, that is talking storage space at least. Its also not as easy to get milestone in all regions, its not as strongly marketed as the more decent players and there must be a good reason for that I suppose. I mean they only started recently to cell it in the US if i'm rite.
Hi,
Exactly, just your opinion. The audio quality of the headphone jack on
milestone is in my opinion better. Again, just my opinion.

Steve,
I agree that it depends on what you want, but to say that the Milestone has better quality audio output than the Plextalk Pocket is, in my humble opinion, tripe. I don't use Audible at all so cannot comment on that side of things but, if you want quality sound in terms of playback of audio content, I think the average punter will struggle to tell the difference between most of these kind of devices.
If you are talking about the quality of the synthetic speech output when reading things like HTML and TXT files, then you may have a bit of a case.
If you then want to do a comparison of the recording quality, again in my opinion, the Plextalk is superior to the majority of the other devices of this type and certainly better than the Milestone.
Just my opinion though!
Jamie

Hi,
Depends on what you want.
If you want sound quality, and better support of Audible, then it beats

After listening to a podcast on the Milestone, I feel it is over priced.

Hi,
Most of this is already available in the Milestone 312, so I'm not that impressed yet.
We'll see.

Wel, as far as audible goes that will be a problem if audible no longer wish to support our players. I don't no the price, they said now its only in Europe at this stage I think, but soon enough we should no. And the daisy online service is great but I guess that many people con't really take advantage of it just as much as othres could do that. The real bennifit now I think is the acapela, the calendar and alarm, and the epub and pdf support. How long is it now that we want pdf support. That is ausom. I also hope they will provide an upgrade path or something of that nature.

I agree there. They inspired APH to really do nice things with the bookport and some of their other devices but I agree in some ways Plextalk can also improve. Nice comment though.

Hi,
For my part, I hope it does Audible enhanced audio. None of the Plextalks do that so far, and it's time they did.
They are so ahead on some things, and so behind on others.

I like the sound of it It sounds similar to the DT in some ways but it sounds like a real nice machine. I hope all plextalk users can have the ability to upgrade from their pocket to this new lineo pocket. Thanks Aidan, nice article. Plextalk is a great company.
