Hi Flor. I believe it's an mp3 file. Windows media player plays it. What program would I use to be sure that it's an mp3 file and how do I check to be sure that's it is an mp3 file? If I have to convert the file, what is a good program to convert the file? -----Original Message----- From: Plextalk [mailto:plextalk-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Flor Lynch Sent: Tuesday, November 03, 2015 3:26 PM To: Plextalk User Discussion List <plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Subject: Re: [Plextalk] ptp1 doesn't recognize an mp3 file Hi, Are you sure that it's an mp3 file? (It might be an M4A file, for example.) Plextalk won't play M4A format files.) I once had an "album" of ten tracks, nine of them mp3's and the other one M4A: Plextalk would play the other nine files, but not the M4a. You might need a file converter from M4A or whatever format it actually is, to mp3. -----Original Message----- From: John Christie Sent: Tuesday, November 03, 2015 6:19 PM To: plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: [Plextalk] ptp1 doesn't recognize an mp3 file Hi all. I attempted to copy and paste an mp3 file in to a folder called Carroll Centre 2 but when I attempt to find the file using the Plextalk player, it doesn't recognize the file. I deleted the files in the plextalk carroll centre folder and then copied and pasted them in to the folder but it still doesn't recognize the file. However, the player recognizes the rest of the files. Do you have any suggestions on how Plextalk could recognize this file? Thanks for your help and have a great day. _______________________________________________ Plextalk mailing list Plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/plextalk _______________________________________________ Plextalk mailing list Plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/listinfo/plextalk
