Kelly, What is netplextalk? Although I do not know of a newer version of the ptx1 there is very likely a version upgrade to its firmware that you should be able to download. The ptp1 is on firmware version 5 and I think that the ptx1 is also several years old. . Hi Frank, Although I've never used it, I believe that NetPlextalk is a computer software programme that allows you to hook into the RNIB Talking Books library and download and play DAISY content on your computer. I don't know if it is available elsewhere but it is an alternative to having a hardware player.
