Hi I have just bought the Plextalk pocket. I was using the booksense for Audible. Will i need to delete the audible manager before adding the softward for the Plextalk pocket. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Fran.
No, you shouldn't have to delete Audible Manager from your computer. You will need to authorize your Plextalk in Audible Manager on the Device menu and then activate it. Once you've done that, you can select the Plextalk as your default player. thanks clifford. I do not have the booksense as it is broken and it was not economically wise to repair it and it is discontinued, so does your instructions still apply. Yes, my instructions still apply. I think the Audible will allow up to three players to be associated with a membership. You might want to call Audible and have them delete the Book Sense from your list of players to give you future flexibility. If you're not going to get a future player or want to authroize an iPhone or an Android device/phone, then you don't really need to do anything other than authorize and activate your plextalk and select it as your default. There's probably a way to delete the Book Sense from your list of players, but I was never able to figure that out on my own. I still have several Creative mp3 players that will play Audible books so I occasionally need to delete one player in favor of another once I get up to three devices.
