Wel if you download data via a mobile device, then you either must be subscribe to alot of lists or don't have a very good connection. As said earlier, rather change it if it bother you and all is fine. I don't think the lists who are stricked about that do really have valit points mostly. The more strict it is, the more unplezent it get. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jamie Cuthbertson" <jamie.cuthbertson@ntlworld.com> To: "'Plextalk User Discussion List'" <plextalk@lists.hodgsonfamily.org> Sent: Tuesday, May 29, 2012 5:31 PM Subject: Re: [Plextalk] Debate about subject lines
George,
We all know that keeping the subject line relevant is the norm for mailing lists but it's never worth getting razzed up about it. It's much easier just to change the subject line yourself if it bothers you.
I don't think that the fact that it got attention was anything to do with you not changing the subject line, it was just because you raised the point in your message.
Hey ho, each to their own, but you are quite right in principle.

Well you may not but when you have to download the rest of the mail on a mobile device and the subject line does not change but the subject does and my god it might be something important that someone might want to know but deleted the mail because it has been the same subject line for the last day...maybe you do not care but there are those of us who do. Yes, I did not change the line because it finely got someone's attention didn't it

George,
Mind you, you have yourself continued to carry on this conversation under an erroneous subject line. I for one don't really get too bothered about this kind of stuff but please don't be hypocritical in this regard.
Jamie
P.S. You'll note I've changed the subject line for this charming little discussion.

This is one thing I like about the Stream over the Pocket. I much prefer the way Rewind and Fast Forward work on it.

Hi, thanks for that, yes I do that when I need to move in smaller steps, but the muting of the audio is not dezirable.

Hi Aden,
You can rewind in shorter time increments by holding down the Forward or Back keys. It's still a bit clunky but better than just sticking to 30 second or 10 minute jumps.

Yes, you have a point there. The only thing I don't like about the pocket is
that it mute the audio wile rewinding and forwarding. And it is a bit slow in that regard. You should have more control over that and a thirty second timejump is great but its to big sometimes. They should add five seconds, and ten seconds also.
