Hello Mike, The best is to put the text files in the folder PlexText. When using the Plextalk Transfer software on a PC, and connect the PTP1 or insert the SD-card into the PC, these folders are automatically created: PlexAudioBook, Plexrecording, PlexPodcast, PlexWebRadio and PlexText. The PTP1 can read text format and .doc format. The PTP1/Linio can also read PDF documents.
