Yes, but what I'm trying to get across is that I have to have the information in order to input it in there. How do I get it? Pam. -----Original Message----- From: Jamie Cuthbertson Sent: Sunday, February 03, 2013 12:25 PM To: 'Plextalk User Discussion List' Subject: Re: [Plextalk] Web Radio Hi Pam, Emma was talking about the Play/Stop button and the surrounding keys on the Pocket. She was pointing you to the menu on the Pocket where you can manually input the information about the WiFi connection you want to connect to. Basically, you can either do this using the supplied software, called "Plextalk Transfer", or you can enter the information manually on the Pocket itself. Which method you choose to use is entirely a personal choice. If you want to use the software, you first need to install it and then find it on your menu system to launch it. It's been a long time since I used the software so I'll have to pass on the details of how to upload the details of a WiFi connection. Hope this helps, Jamie -----Original Message----- From: Plextalk [mailto:plextalk-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Pamela Dominguez Sent: 03 February 2013 17:12 To: Plextalk User Discussion List Subject: Re: [Plextalk] Web Radio What are you talking about the circle? The centre button is ok. I hope that helps. On 2/3/13, Pamela Dominguez <geodom@optonline.net> wrote:

Hi Adrien
Attached is my collection of radio stations that I listen to on the Plextalk, including Gold.
Last time I checked they all worked.
I got some of them from www.blindradio.co.uk and some from their websites.
Good luck
Pele

Hi Pam, If you are meaning the information that's required for connecting to your wireless router, then usually the information is on a sticker on the back or underside of the router itself. Obviously, you would need sighted assistance to get the information in the first place. The kind of information you would expect to get here would be things like: 1. The router SSID - this is the unique identifier of that router, a bit like its name. If you use the Pocket, it is often possible to search for available networks and this detail can be input automatically if your router is in range. 2. Security type - This will be something like WEP or WPA. There are various variants of WPA but the detail should be on the sticker. If not, sometimes you might have this information displayed if you try to make the connection from a computer. 3. Security key - this is like the password for your router and this should certainly be on the router. Hope this helps.
