Hello Arno. In your e-mail you said that the PTR 2 could cope with S D cards. This is news to me. Am I missing a trick here? Is there a socket that I have not found, or are you using a flash to S D card adaptor? It will be good to know. We are unable to find flash cards nowadays, so it would also be good to know of a different supplier. I know on my PTR1 that it will only cope with up to 2GB cards. The 2 GB limit on the cards are only for SD on PTR1. The PTR2 is able to handle SDHC cards, too. So SD cards larger than 2 GB are no problem at all for the PTR2. And for CF cards: The PTR1, and of course the PTR2, can handle CF cards up to 32 GB. Hi Peter, yes, you need an adaptor to use SD cards in the PTR2. There are several adaptors available. Here in Germany I suppose the adaptor from Delock are the most popular. http://www.marland.eu/en/marland-products/c/daisy-recorder-1/p/delock-cf-mem... I suppose any other adaptors from others sources would work, too. You only should read the description for the adaptor carefully, because older items where not able to handle SDHC cards. And of course you need the actual firmware on your PTR2 to use SDHC cards (SD cards larger than 2 GB). Yours sincerely Arno
Peter I've just bought 4 more Flash cards from Amazon. The PTR2 definitely can't play SD cards. There is only the slot for Flash cards, and the manual says it can take types 1 and 2 CF cards. SD cards would be much too small to use in the PTR2.
