switched to amazon log in
hi to all when i first activated my audible account on the plextalk pocket it was with my audible username and password. i have since linked everything to my amazon account here in the UK so i sign in with my amazon email and amazon password to now access my audible library. do i therefore need to re-activate my audible account with the plextalk pocket, under the amazon credentials as i assume the activation file is at present for the original audible username and password? when i copy and audible file in to the plex audio books folder it shows up on the computer but when i turn on the PTP1 it is not showing up when i arrow through titles. the current activation.SYS file is in the audible folder on the root of the SD card and even if i put the AAX file types of audible books in the audible folder they are still not showing up. as i use apple mac i don't use the software that windows users have but manage my content manually regards william
Hi William. When I download a file from audible it consists of the name of the book etc. followed by _username.r so if your amazonn username is different and the password is different then I should phone audible up and ask them what procedure to follow. When I put an audible on the mac and tell it to play in itunes it asks for the username and password and then plays it so you could do the same using your audible username and password that you have on your plextic and see if it works. If not then put in your amazon username and password and see if it plays then. That way you should be able to find out what the problem is. h.t.h. cliff
