Hi Aden,
You can rewind in shorter time increments by holding down the Forward or Back keys. It's still a bit clunky but better than just sticking to 30 second or 10 minute jumps.

Yes, you have a point there. The only thing I don't like about the pocket is
that it mute the audio wile rewinding and forwarding. And it is a bit slow in that regard. You should have more control over that and a thirty second timejump is great but its to big sometimes. They should add five seconds, and ten seconds also.

i, too, have both the Plextalk Pocket, and the Stream. I just recently purchased the Stream, and am still trying to decide which i like the best.
I think I'm leaning toward the Pocket, though. The one thing I like better about the Stream, is that it has longer playback time. It has about double that of the Pocket. The one thing I don't like about it, is that it doesn't give you the date and time. At least if it does, I have not been able to find that setting, and I read the User's guide from beginning to end.

George, We all know that keeping the subject line relevant is the norm for mailing lists but it's never worth getting razzed up about it. It's much easier just to change the subject line yourself if it bothers you. I don't think that the fact that it got attention was anything to do with you not changing the subject line, it was just because you raised the point in your message. Hey ho, each to their own, but you are quite right in principle. George,
Mind you, you have yourself continued to carry on this conversation under an erroneous subject line. I for one don't really get too bothered about this kind of stuff but please don't be hypocritical in this regard.
Jamie
P.S. You'll note I've changed the subject line for this charming little discussion.

Hi Aden,
You can rewind in shorter time increments by holding down the Forward or Back keys.
