I have been told that the battery for the PTN2 is the same as that used in the PTX1. Is this correct? Can I buy a separate charger, or is it only charged in the player? Thanks, Steve
You can only charge it with the supplied adapter. You may however buy extra adapters or batteries separately if you wish. I would assume that the battery in the PTN2 is the same that is in the PTX1 or very similar since those two players are very close to each other in design. The battery life of these ageing machines drives me to distraction, lasting no longer than half an hour. I was thinking that if I purchased a PTN2 plus a spare battery, I could swap them over when one died, making sure that I always had a charged one to hand.
