Kristoffer, Never seen this one before. If it happened to me there are a few quick things I would try before reinstalling the software. 1. enter the recording menu and choose a predetermined configuration -- something other than custom 2. take the battery out for 20 sec and then put it back in 3. try another SD card Also when you depress the record butten be careful not to hold it down -- immediately release it.
