Recording from Hi-Fi
Hi Everyone I know this may sound strange, but does anyone have experience of recording on the Plextalk Pocket? I am trying to record the soundtrack of a TV programme and I think the best way is to plug the Plextalk Pocket into the hi-fi amplifier and record from there (the TV is linked to the hi-fi). So far playing with the settings I have had some rather unsatisfactory results. So I would be interested to know if anyone has tried this. Thanks Pele West
Hi, I haven't, but have you set the input jack to line input instead of mic? If you hifi has any kind of external sockets like that used with a tape recorder, then use them. They would usually be two RCA sockets. Set the Plextalk on line in mode and not microphone mode. -----Original Message----- From: Plextalk [mailto:plextalk-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Pele West Sent: 25 November 2012 11:23 AM To: Plextalk User Discussion List Subject: [Plextalk] Recording from Hi-Fi Hi Everyone I know this may sound strange, but does anyone have experience of recording on the Plextalk Pocket? Yes, and to add to this, use manual level control, and try using the custom recording moad for better results. Leave the noise setting on normal unless if you have a noisy signal coming fru. On 25/11/2012, André van Deventer <andredbsa@webafrica.org.za> wrote:
