Hi. I recorded 20 or so songs from church. They made a nice CD and I sent it to a friend out in Oklahoma. But I needed the first ten songs from that recording to put with about 12 other songs for a different purpose. I saved them to a playlist to try to burn them. The program I'm using says that there's not enough room on my blank CD to burn them. I've tried more than one CD; I've done about everything I know. Here's the question after all this: Q: Can I take the play list, 20 or 22 songs, and somehow put it back into the plextalk and cause the machine to make a cd of them? There is now no longer the internal files that belong to the recordings. Here's the question stated another way. Can I take a collection of 20 songs, put them into the plex without recording them in again, and cause the plex to turn them out for me as a CD? I could play the songs into the plex again, yes. but can I possibly drop them in in some kind of folder and have them recognized in the way that is necessary to producing a CD? I know the answer will be "no," but I had to ask. All best, Penny
Hi Penny, Depending on the overall play time of the tunes, you should be able to do this using the Plextalk Recording Software (PRS). It wouldn't be feasible to give you a blow by blow list of how to do this but, if you download and install the software, create the project and finalise it, you should then be able to burn the tracks to a CD. There should be a manual with the software. Penny, Do you use a PC? It occurs to me that maybe some of your songs have two large a file because they are not MP3. a Cd would cope easily with 22 MP3 tunes.
