Bluetooth sound quality was Re: New Portable Water Resistant WirelessMini-Speaker!As low as $24.99 with Coupon Code.
Hi Andre, There has been a lot of progress made in Bluetooth technology since it was first introduced including in the sound quality department. As I said in an earlier post, I would still not recommend it for an audiophile. However it is quite good. A lot depends on the quality of the speakers, headphones etc to which the audio signal is being transmitted. For example I have a cheap pair of bluetooth headphones which I use to listen to audiobooks, but I would never use them to listen to music. If I wanted to listen to music using Bluetooth, I would either transmit the signal to a good pair of Bluetooth headphones, my stereo system, or to the car stereo. HTH. I fully realize that the answer will differ from person to person. Perhaps someone familiar with reasonably good quality sound can comment on this. With earlier versions of Bluetooth, I understood that the transmission of audio sound was not always good. What is the case with newer Bluetooth transmitters and receivers? Are we at that stage where the sound of sound transmitted via Bluetooth is just as good as a direct cable connection between high quality audio devices or do we still have some way to for this to be the case?
