Yes, you absolutely right, the stream doesn't have a clock which I know many people would like and which is nice about a pocket/bookport. The one thing I like better about the Stream, is that it has longer playback time. It has about double that of the Pocket. The one thing I don't like about it, is that it doesn't give you the date and time. At least if it does, I have not been able to find that setting, and I read the User's guide from beginning to end.
