Hello all, I would appreciate comments from anyone who has used any of the following security-related products. I am particularly interested in their accessibility or lack thereof and any workarounds that you had to develop to get things done. Links included for the curious. Which program do people recommend for terminal sharing?

Hi, One of the products I support lives on Linux boxes, so I have been exploring the possibility of using something like 'tmux' or 'tmate', for times when it is useful to see what the customer themselves is doing on their box as they do it. So far I have found 'tmate' ok, but 'speak' does seem to like reading out bits of the session from before. reading up from the bottom of the window seems to work ok though. Also, if I create the 'tmate' session on my Mac all is good, but if I connect to someone els's session, VO seems to get very hung up on telling me about light box drawings. Any thoughts on the best solutions for terminal sharing are very much appreciated. Cheers, Jen.

Setting up virtual machines via the command line?

Hi, Sometimes if I am working from home it would be good to set up a VM on my machine at work, so it's there when I go to the office, and I don't have to copy it and take it in on a USB drive etc. I'm currently using a Mac with VMWare fusion. Is there a tool to set up and run VMs from the command line, that I could install on my Mac and use after SSHing in? Cheers, Jen.

Hi: So, to those of you out there who admin Office 365 tenants, I was just curious as to what tips you had in terms of accessibility goes? Do you use the various web UIs or Powershell mostly? I’m finding the Exchange online UI is accessible with Window-Eyes, if slightly clunky and there are some parts that don’t work as expected (like the combo box where you have to use your left and right arrow instead of up and down.) Important changes to this list - please read

Hi all, A new technology has been developed to try and mitigate against non-legitimate and spam email which has been taking off in the last few months. This technology is called DMARC, and unfortunately is not compatible with email lists, as the email lists break the DMARC system and cause emails whose providers publish DMARC information to end up being rejected. This started causing the list server here issues several months ago when users were randomly being kicked off lists. There are a number of ways of mitigating against this issue, and the implementation I have chosen for the lists here will I hope be as non-intrusive to screen reader users as possible. Until yesterday, most of the lists weren't seeing the system in action, but sometime yesterday Gmail decided to publish DMARC records, so the system I put in place started seeing regular use across the lists. Here is the system put in place: For email reaching the list, the system will look up if a DMARC record is published for the domain. If no record is published, the message is sent out to the list as normal. If a DMARC record is published, the email is modified as followed: - The From: header is changed so that the text "Via Listname" is added to the person's name; - The email address in the From: header is replaced by the list address; - The Original from: header is put into the cc: header. This I think gives the best balance of deliverability for all users, without cluttering up screen reader users with other information in the message or the From: header. Yahoogroups have their own way of mitigating this for all messages, and I feel this causes extraneous information to be heard for example using the screen reader. The DMARC website is at www.dmarc.org<http://www.dmarc.org> if you want to see more information. Hi, My wife is using rdp at work and needs to switch back and forth from the rdp session to her desktop to see her outlook as part of her job. She is using remote desktop to connect to their remote computer as there a way for her to switch between her desktop and the remote session without having to log off?

SCCM Training
