Accessible network scanners
Hi folks, Do you know of any? I'm looking to get one for my desk that would allow me to scan documents to A. Keep electronic invoices B. Scan to sharepoint C. Have USB/Network scanning iff possible. I've looked at network scanners but most seem to have GUI touch panels, which for obvious reasons I'd like to avoid if possible. Cheers, Barry. Hi, Thanks for the suggestion but... That would open up security concerns , as I could be scanning confidential information and it's being passed to servers on the Internet. Also, I'm looking a solution that ideally isn't' adaptive, and one that will scan to Sharepoint. Thanks, Barry. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Stephen Guerra Sent: 27 December 2012 12:59 To: 'Blind sysadmins list' Subject: Re: [Blind-sysadmins] Accessible network scanners Why not try DocUScan plus Stephen Guerra Assistive Technology Specialist and Technical Operations independent living aids, LLC | SOUNDBYTES 200 Robbins Lane Jericho, New York 11753-2341 Phone: 800.537.2118 Direct: 516.450.3817 Fax: 516.450.3842 E-mail: stephen@independentliving.com Check out our 2013 New E-Catalog Web sites: www.independentliving.com www.soundbytes.com 13581ff6-edb8-4fe2-9d8d-9677a6e429d3 Y2:13581ff6-edb8-4fe2-9d8d-9677a6e429d3 -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Barry Toner Sent: Thursday, December 27, 2012 6:55 AM To: blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Accessible network scanners Hi folks, Do you know of any? Barry, I suggest you read more, it is only left on the net if you chose to leave their, you can scan, save to a computer and then copy it or save it to the sharepoint. Only if you leave your docment on the cloud, will it stay their, and this is an adaptive solution. Hi, The multi-function printer I use at home has this function - it is a Brother all in one mono laser printer. If it has scanning ability and connects to the network then it is likely that it will act as a network scanner. Is this the type of thing you are looking for? Thanks. Andrew. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-sysadmins [mailto:blind-sysadmins-bounces@lists.hodgsonfamily.org] On Behalf Of Barry Toner Sent: 27 December 2012 12:55 To: blind-sysadmins@lists.hodgsonfamily.org Subject: [Blind-sysadmins] Accessible network scanners Hi folks, Do you know of any?
