win7pro unattend file disk configuration error

Hello, I'm trying to do an unattended install of win7 pro x64. I am getting an error that the answer file <disk configuration> section can not be applied. I've checked in bios and if disk0 matches sata0 channel 0 then it should work, unless there's an error in my unattend file. Here's the disk info block: <DiskConfiguration> <Disk wcm:action="add"> <DiskID>0</DiskID>  <ModifyPartitions> <ModifyPartition wcm:action="add">  <Extend>false</Extend> <Format>NTFS</Format>  <Letter>C</Letter> <Order>1</Order> <PartitionID>1</PartitionID> <Label>Windows 7</Label> </ModifyPartition> </ModifyPartitions> </Disk> <WillShowUI>OnError</WillShowUI> </DiskConfiguration> <ImageInstall> <OSImage> <InstallTo> <DiskID>0</DiskID> <PartitionID>1</PartitionID> </InstallTo> </OSImage> </ImageInstall> This is the second pass with this file. I had atempted this yesterday, with only one change the extend line was set to true so I was thinking the partition would take up the entire physical drive. That gave an error about the extend line so I set it to false which is where it is now. And I'm getting the error about being unable to apply the disk configuration. I'd appreciateany suggestions. Hi, I am beginning work on a masters of Cyber Security. I have spoke to the instructor for the class and was told that one of the principle tools that we will use in lab is Wireshark. Wireshark is a free network sniffing/monitoring tooll. Has any one worked with this tool? If yes can you tell me about some of the associated obstacles you faced. I'll be running Jaws 13 Greg B. Hi folks, Firstly let me thank you all for your feedback on my meeting I was due to have on Tuesday. I've saved these. The meeting hasn't taken place yet. I've just gotten a request to set a user's Out Of Office. How our Net Admin normally does this is RDP into Exchange. I don't' currently have any RDP licences for JAWS. Is there another way I can do this from my own computer? I'm trying to find a solution before I speak to my Manager. I'd rather bring him a solution than leave it in his hands to work out. I am being promised as soon as the Net Admin gets back I will be granted Administrator privileges. downloading from Microsoft technet

Hi. Using jaws, has anyone had any luck downloading from the Microsoft subscriber downloads page? Everytime I attempt to download a package such as Windows server 2012, when I press enter on the download link, a page briefly pops up saying something about Download redirecter. At that point, I tried both alt-n, and alt-s. That page disappears, and I am returned to the original page. I must use nvda to activate the download link before the download page pops up and I can then select where to save the file. It would be nice if I didn't have to switch screen readers in the middle of the process. I prefer to use jaws since it is easier to use the jaws cursor to read the progress of the downloads. Phil

Hi, A couple of weeks ago I posted about how I'm intending to record a pc build some time over christmas. I've been planning this a bit and I've come up with a list of hings I'm going to cover. I've included this below so I can get some feedback on it - is there anything missing? Is there anything that you would like more detail on compared to other areas? I'll be assuming some *very* basic hardware knolidge; it will be usefull if you have previously felt at least some internal components because spending large amounts of time describing absolutely everything won't really be practical. Cover: Best practice for testing components What does post mean? CPU installation method for Intel How to install thermal paste without worrying about spreading it equally Stock intel heatsync installation incl 3 pin vs 4 pin fan headers & finding them on the board Ram installation Connecting the PSU Turning it on - the screw driver method Light probe demonstration How to Test if the board posts without a light probe Preparing the case - opening it, clearing it, getting to know it etc etc Installing the backplate All about standoffs: working out if they need to be installed, working out where to install them & how to install them Aligning the motherboard inside the case Finding the right screws & screwing it in place Troubleshooting screw related problems Different types of bays you'll typically find in cases Hard drive installation - SATA Optical drive installation - IDE Expantion card (Pci or PCIE) installation Installing the PSU & connecting everything up again Front panel connectors: differences between leds and buttons, how to find the power button & how to keep track of what's what How to connect the power button Explain (But probably not demo)how to find where the light connectors should go Fans: best airflow practices, how to tell if a fan is installed as intake or exhaust & how to install them Briefly talk about methods of booting from cd without accessing the bios How to connect front USB & audio Thats about all I can think of; if anyone wants anything else covered just let me know. I've only been outright discriminated against once by Sprint of all things. They actually told me they wouldn't hire me because of my disability. I'm not the legal action type though.
