Hi all. so I have been asked to help with a wifi installation in a fairly big space. I am tempted to go with the unify ap stuff from Ubiquiti networks. This stuff gets rave reviews and looks quite good. However, their things seem to require using a java based controler software for configuration. I am concerned about how accessible this might or might not be. From reading some of their support stuff, even to enable ssh on an ap to allow configuration requires use of this controler software. It might be usable and not a problem but I don't want to spend like a thousand bucks on stuff I can't configure. Since this will be mostly set it and forget it, I guess I could borrow a pair of eyes to follow my instructions and configure the access points for the first time. Anyone got experience with any of this gear? How did you get access points up and running for the first time? thanks. Merger between VFO group and AI Squared.

AI Squared has been merged into VFO group. I'm sure you've heard at this stage. So, what do you think? Are those of you who use Window Eyes worried? Do you see the VFO group retaining both Jaws and Window Eyes? I think this has the potential to be huge news.

Anecdotal Information Regarding ZoomText and other Magnifiers

We haven't done anything formally yet, however it appears as if more and more people who have useable vision are pleased with the magnification features in Windows 7 and 10. Another observation is it seems as if people who have had low vision since birth manage bolt on applications, like ZoomText, more easily than those who had their vision reduce later on in life. The latter seem to be the group who work more comfortably with the included magnification options in the operating systems. May be one day we will see a study on this to confirm if these anecdotal observations have any merit. Question on SQL 2012 and Relational Joins

Dear listers:I am fairly new to using SQL server. I am creating a database with two tables and would like to right-join both tables to one another. With the mouse, this can be done via drag-and-drop. As a keyboard work-around, one could use the query language, but drag-and-drop is far easier if you are just starting out in this area. Has any user found a solution for this? System diagnostics.

What do you use for accessible system diagnostics? It's not something that I need to do very often but I'll need to check two systems this week. One is a Dell laptop. The other a HP server.

Trello and similar tools

Hi all, My team are investigating tools to help plan / track / visualize the work that we do. So far the favourite seems to be Trello but whilst this is usable in the strictest of senses, it's one of those situations where it's so fiddly to use that I can't really be as productive as I'd like. What do other people use for this sort of thing? Bonus points if it has an iOS app. The team are open to trying other solutions if they work better for me but if I can't find anything it's probably going to be Trello or Github. Cheers, Ben.
