remote work with jaws

Hello, I'm assigned a help desk that I'm with. One of there tasks is to remotely inspect and troubleshoot machines. I'm assuming they do this via remote desktop or similar? They use cisco equipment for networking if that matters. They're running win7 on all there workstations. My workstation runs win7 as well and jaws17. I am wondering if I can do the remote work? I've not had to do remote in the past, I don't see how without something on the other end of the connection, which I do not have. Suggestions welcome. Thanks. Dave.

Can anyone with SCCM installed tell me if the latest version will allow me to independently administer these areas please? Novell Zenworks is the currently used deployment system but I'm encountering a few things that it just won't do as well or won't do at all. There's about 10000 workstations and about 500 servers. About 40% of the servers are Linux based. Suggestions very welcome. Thanks

Hello, I know this is a long subject let me explain my problem. Three months ago I had sergery and am just now getting up to the point where I can do a remote *nix system upgrade via ssh. I use on windows SecureCRT version 6.23. For reference on the server I use Openssl 1.0.1S and openssh-server 7.1x. My goal is to tighten up the encryption protocols to high grade perfect forward secrecy protocols only. My first question is to those managing *nix servers remotely (apache web, email, imap, stufff like that), if you could take a look at the server-protocols relevant portions of my configuration files make sure I have them right? Basically I need a sanity check. The second item, sshd, again like to tighten it up I believe I have it going serverside, which I want. The problem is my version of securecrt does not support the needed protocols. My question is since I don't have the needed cash to upgrade SecureCRT are there other accessible windows terminal emulator programs? I know about PuTTY I do not use it. Is there anything else? My screen readers are Jaws and NVDA. Thanks. Dave.

Hello, Any workarounds for using the Microsoft report viewer? Is it just me or has this become more inaccessible in the past few years? I haven't had to check the status of WSUS in a very long time and was unhappy to find that the main content area in the report viewer was not accessible. The only way I was able to read the details was by first exporting them to Excel. Using Windows 10 with all updates applied and the public beta of Jaws 18. Suggestions welcome. Regards Darragh

Hi there guys. I'm Hadi from Iran. I've just graduated this summer from Tehran Azad university and hold a BA degree in English literature. I'm thinking about having a major change and I'm looking in to Computer networks. I've always been intrested in this subject, and have played with my devices in home to create a small network, (e. streaming with raspberry pi, sharing data between devices, and some basic things like that). I'm looking for a way to study networking, and already doing research about courses and certifications. I wanted to ask for advice and recommendations from you guys, and get help from experienced users. I'm currently looking for courses, colleges and universities that can help me to start in this subject, and I would greatly appreciate any help if someone can help me with this. There are some points I would like to make, the first one being is that I'm on a complete beginner level, and I do not have any passed experience with networking, and working with network-related gear. one very important point is that I'm extremely enthusiastic towards this path, and am ready to move abroad and accept all the challenges that comes with it, If It means for me to study in an environment that is suitable for learning this subject with accessible methods and gear. now - I say this because my current options in my current location are extremely limited, As there are absolutely no support for blind and visually impaired to study networking courses in education centers around me; So I would be completely on my own. fortunately, I have the support and funds to move out of the country if required for me to follow this path and career, so I'm strongly considering this option. this is a very general letter, but I'm willing to provide more information if needed.
