vm wware issue

Hi. Got vm ware work station. Windows server 2019 essentials 64 bit. On a windows 10 64 bit pro 2004 laptop. Now. When I try to run server manager. When I try to click on add rolls and services. Keeps telling me an error, that no server pool or servers are present. And my sighted trainer as doing a network course from http://www.upskilled.edu.au. Says I have my windows 10 user account and the network. How can I get this to work. Need to do a lab practical. Sisghted sighted students use http://www.heropa.com which is based on hyper v and does not work with jaws, nvda, windows narrator. Any ideas. How to get this to work. And gave permission for my trainer to remote in via team viewer and then turn on audio end points. Any help. Have tried googling, but not found an answer. Thanks. Ps: need to create active directory power shell, trusts, forests, and web stuff.,

Hello, You might have also had this problem. I've written scripts in various languages as small as unlocking an active directory account to a full student onboarding system that processes tens of thousands of students every year. But the problem is, when an exception is thrown, I may not ever hear about it because unless I'm actively looking at application logs three years after the application has been deployed, I'm probably going to miss it. So I wrote something. This is kind of reinventing the wheel I'm sure. But my solution is different because it's stupidly simple. You throw your log message, exception, innerException, StackTrace and even custom note at an API point. Give it some information as well such as application name, running environment, AKA dev, staging, dev, UAT or production, Say if the message has been generated by an operating system, application, end user, appliance, network etc then just go about your business. Every so often, log in to the UI and go through your messages. There will also shortly be a graphical dashboard but that stuff will come in a week or two when I get time. Coming soon, I will create a way of taking action on messages based on rules that are user definable. For example, when the message is an error, from the production environment and priority is critical, send an Email, or even trigger a call to another end point. For example IFTTT. Here's what I'm aiming for. CPU usage goes up on a server and I get a message on my Amazon Echo with Alexa telling me what's happened. Or let's say I'm integrating two systems and synchronizing data across. Everything is working perfectly but someone adds a new code to the data and the synchronization breaks. The system that runs this is hosted off site so I don't regularly have access to the logs. That's no problem. The message is Emailed to me so I have a full record of what happened. I can even do my investigation remotely through the exception,stack trace and inner exception. The API is asynchronous and has been tested on just one server with over 10,000 calls in one minute. Log and monitoring help please?

Hi all, Not so sure my first message made it to the list, I apologize for a second message. I hopefully might find myself doing more sys administration tasks, one of which is to ensure that servers are performing optimally, as well as looking at system/application logs when it comes to troubleshooting. I'd like to know how have you gone about this in an accessible way please? I remember trying to look at event viewer logs with JFW and that the MMC console kept crashing or that jaws was really sluggish in the console? Are their alternative apps when it comes to log analysis from an accessibility standpoint? How about graphs regarding CPU/Memory/Disk performance? I apologize for the many questions, Your help would really be appreciated. Kind Regards

Hi, Has anyone tried Proxmox on a dedicated server? Right now I use my Synology NAS for running a Linux and a Windows VM, using the OCR function if I need to get a screen capture. Audio redirection won't run like it does on VmWare workstation of course but just putting it out there. As far as I know, everything you can do in the graphical interface can also be done at the command line. So it is very accessible. Here's a tip about running a virtual machine in Linux: You can take a screen capture and then run an OCR program on it to read the screen even if sound isn't working. I think almost all virtual environments have screen cap functions. In VirtualBox you get a png image of the screen. I have found that gocr works much better than tesseract for recognizing the text in those screen caps. new job with remote workload

Hi, had a question, is there a way to perform a remote session on a computer using the screen reader on my computer so that the remote computer doesn't hear the chatter of my screen reader. I have used team viewer in the past but unless I crank up a screen reader on the other computer it doesn't work. Thanks
