Dear Andrew, Re a battery for the PTR2, Marc did say that he would look into things for me and if anything could be done from his end, it would be expensive because of the customs charge and postage. You indicated that the battery pack could be opened and the cells replaced. There is a company in Bristol who probably could replace the cells but had no idea whether the battery could be opened. From what you and Marc say, it appears that it can be opened; may I ask you to confirm this. I was hoping Mark was going to chime in here but I highly suspect your only option now is to go to a place where they can reproduce the battery for you if you send them the old one.
