Hi all, We need a Software, wiki, CMS or whatever to document our IT and our software tutorials. At the moment we are using OneNote 2016 or at least my coleagues use OneNote and i am basically am lost. We need something accessible, offline if possible solution to manage all that stuff. Any ideas from the folks over here? My sighted people like clicky things and pictures. *smile* So i guess markdown and converting that to html using hugo or a wiki might be unfriendly for them. Or a software with both a visual and a code based editor. Prefered open source. So basically that they can write their stuff in word and paste it into the browser, software or whatever. Advice on GPS talk

Loading a javascript module

Can you load a javascript module in a script embedded in a web page? If so how? I am trying to write a web page to display values in a yaml data file. I want to read this yaml data, parse it, and display the values. I found there is a javascript module available to do that. I installed it on my linux machine with the command 'apt-get install node-js-yaml'. The examples that come with the code don't work when embedded in a script on a web page. The line where it fails looks like this: var yaml = require('js-yaml'); I have been googling all day but all I can find are more examples that do not appear to be embedded in a web page. -- John G. Terminal improvements are coming to NVDA 2019.3!

Hello, I’ve been working as a Google Summer of Code student with NV Access over the past couple of months. My project <https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/organizations/5317267756154880/> involves improving NVDA performance and stability in the Windows Console used by Command Prompt, PowerShell, and the Windows Subsystem for Linux on Windows 10 version 1803 and later. The new console support is set to ship as part of NVDA 2019.3, to be released later this year. In the mean time, I’d greatly appreciate your testing of, and feedback from, the latest master (alpha) snapshots, which can be found on this page <http://nvda-project.org/snapshots>. A limited version of the new support will also ship in 2019.2 within the next few weeks behind a feature flag. Thanks in advance for testing, and be sure to let me know what you think! Bill

setting up 2fa?

Hello, To those of you who use 2fa on your accounts how did you get it set up? Most setups I've read about seem to indicate that you have to scan a qr code which periodically changes so your second factor can generate a one-time use key, problem with me is my computer has no monitor attached, I've got it running headless. I'd like to secure all services that I've got with 2fa, is this doable without a monitor? Services include: ebay yahoo amazon audible linux/bsd secure shell access linux roundcube webmail Thanks for any pointers. Thanks. Dave.

Verizon phishing emails, 2fa securing?

Hello, I've got some people who have verizon email addresses and they keep getting what I know to be fake/phishing verizon emails. They're getting a little peranoid and doing password change isn't calming them even though they do it everytime. Is there a way to tighten up verizon's email access on their side, maybe 2fa? I'm assuming they're accessing either via phone (it would be an iPhone if it is) or pc browser webmail access. Thanks. Dave.
