We don’t use that part of SCCM so I’m not sure exactly how to help you, however, if all you are looking for is status information one of the web reports may be better for you. You’d have to ask a coworker how that’s set up as you can get to them from outside the console completely if the reporting point is set up properly. I know that there are some SCEP reports, but, again as we don’t use that I don’t know if one would help you. The reporting point uses SQL Reporting Services so writing one to get you specifically what you wanted wouldn’t be that hard. So if that’s all you need then you may be OK just going that route. If, on the other hand, you want to learn to use SCCM to its full potential, pushing software, enforcing compliance, using OSD to image new machines, managing software updates for workstations and servers etc. you’re going to have to just get use to the console in its full glory. Hi and thanks for taking the time to get back to me. As far as I am aware, we are using 2012 but I will see what I can find out. I Am using JAWS17, the latest version. I Would really like to be able to take a look at the details of an asset e.g. when it last checked back with the console for updates and when it last checked for virus updates. Does anyone know of a tool, native to Server 2012 or third party that would allow me to generate a basic logon/logoff report by user? My organization isn't really having any issue since we are very flexable with people using VPN connections and working from home. HIPAA compliance requires that we at least be able to pull a report when necessary. Any recommended tools out there? Thanks.
