NVDA Remote Relay?

Hello Everyone. Please Forgive me if this has been asked before or if this is off topic, but i've only just subscribed to this list. With the recent release of NVDA Remote, I thought i'd investigate the possibility of setting up my own relay server for personal use, so I can administer multiple machines around my home. however, there's no mention of the relay server in the client documentation. The only implication is that 1 is running at NVDARemote.com. i'd much prefer to host my own so I'm not relying on third party connections etc. Does anyone have any more information about the server component? It would be a real shame if they didn't release it on security grounds. surely it would only be a risk if the connection was first specifically set up/initiated? i would've asked on their mailing list, but its unclear how you subscribe and seems to be for announcements only. any help would be much appreciated. Current accessibility status with Cisco jabber

Hi all. When researching the topic i found the following link about Cisco jaber accessibility from 2014 which points to the discussion on this list: https://lists.hodgsonfamily.org/pipermail/blind-sysadmins/2014-June/004245.… However i saw that possible accessibility fixes has bean changed during 2015. So my question is, if jaws scripts work now well with Cisco jabber, is it possible to read now status of the call logs? If yes, can someone send the jaws scripts for the app privately to me. I need the info asap for my gf who works in the Eu parliament. Which program do people recommend for terminal sharing?

Hi, One of the products I support lives on Linux boxes, so I have been exploring the possibility of using something like 'tmux' or 'tmate', for times when it is useful to see what the customer themselves is doing on their box as they do it. So far I have found 'tmate' ok, but 'speak' does seem to like reading out bits of the session from before. reading up from the bottom of the window seems to work ok though. Also, if I create the 'tmate' session on my Mac all is good, but if I connect to someone els's session, VO seems to get very hung up on telling me about light box drawings. Any thoughts on the best solutions for terminal sharing are very much appreciated. Cheers, Jen.

Setting up virtual machines via the command line?

Hi, Sometimes if I am working from home it would be good to set up a VM on my machine at work, so it's there when I go to the office, and I don't have to copy it and take it in on a USB drive etc. I'm currently using a Mac with VMWare fusion. Is there a tool to set up and run VMs from the command line, that I could install on my Mac and use after SSHing in? Cheers, Jen.
