Hi all, I'm in the middle of an interesting issue here, and this is more of a question about getting things working rather than accessibility. I'm pretty sure advice is allowed? Anyway, I've got two sites, one in Somerville, and the other in Wilmington, Mass. All of our servers run Windows Server 2012 R2 for the moment, while one of the RRAS servers, the one here in Wilmington may run Windows server 10 eventually. The issue is as follows: I need to connect the two sites together so that members of the one site can securely access resources in the other site and have it be transparent to them. I want both sites to appear to VPN clients as a single site, and I know that RRAS can do this. Does anyone have any experience with this? I don't want to use Direct Access because servers, especially my domain controller, has to be connected to the VPN for replication purposes. Not to mention, there are file server resources here, and I want the members of the Somerville site to be able to access them; I cannot forward out port 445, Comcast blocks it, though SMB over the internet's asking for trouble anyway. So, if anyone has any experience with this, if they've ever gotten it working (too many people make fun of me, rather than trying to help me, since we can't use hardware VPN, can't afford it), that would be great.

Backup solution.

Good morning, Do you have any preferred backup solutions? I need to backup about 1.5GB of data using incremental and full backups. A self contained backup solution or an appliance would be fine. Lllll It needs to be accessible of course. Any suggestions?

Hi I found this list while I was looking for information on NVDA and teamViewer. My name is Josh Kennedy and I am from a small town in Pennsylvania near Harrisburg. I attended the Colorado Center for the blind for independent living training in 2008. Then in 2011 I got a-plus and network-plus certifications so I could work at a help desk. I got a job, and then lost it due to family issues so never got the chance to work. My certifications are now expired and I don't have the money to renew them. Public transit is pretty much non-existent around here. I'd like to know if there are any companies who hire IT people to do a combination of phone and tech support from home? Also I have a very part time side job. I clean and fix up computers for people around town. I do this by reformatting machines when needed using a talking windows disk. Or I use Ubuntu when needed to do more advanced work. I was thinking of expanding by offering remote support to jaws users using jaws tandom and charging a small fee for training and remote support. But I'm not sure how popular that would be and I only have a jaws demo and cannot afford jaws. And as far as I know I cannot buy jaws on just $150 per month.

Accessibility of linux

Hi all, I keep getting advised by other developers that Linux is a better platform to develop under compared to Windows. I wanted to explore options for how Linux is accessible and what is available? I've never used Linux so any advice on how things work and how to get setup would be appreciated. I would still like to use my windows machine for day to day work. Malware Bytes 1.75 works just fine. Go into settings and tell it not to update itself automatically. You can still update the malware database it uses and stay safe. i play around with a freebsd 10 or 9 and compile apaceh2 after a while a text based dialog come up with a few choices this dialogs worked fine with older freebsd versions i run from putty on windows i can see the choices in the dialog with jaws cursor but i cant select things
